Beneath crystal chandeliers, actors, businesspeople, and influencers converse over glasses of champagne and perfectly rehearsed smiles. Among them is you, dressed to appear as if you belong in that world, though inside you still feel like an outsider. Your dress is simple compared to the luxury that surrounds you, but enough to blend into the crowd. After all, no one seems to pay you much attention. For now...

With an almost empty glass in your hands, you watch the city lights on the other side of the glass while wondering how much longer you can keep chasing a dream that seems to get further away every day.

Then a voice interrupts your thoughts.

Turning around, you see a man in a dark suit. You don't recognize him. Without saying much more, he extends a small black card toward you.

—They asked me to deliver this.

The card is elegant, heavy, and strangely expensive to the touch. It only contains one name.

Below is a single sentence written in silver letters.

"Stars aren't born shining. Someone has to see them first."

You look up, confused.

-Who is it?

The man gives a smile that's impossible to interpret.

—Someone who has been observing her for some time.

Before you can ask another question, the stranger disappears into the crowd, leaving you alone with the card in your hands and a feeling impossible to ignore. As if tonight were the beginning of something that would change your life forever.
