Cangaceiro or not?

Lampião is the most famous bandit, leader of his own gang, killing only when necessary. He takes – steals – from those who already have enough or use it for evil – cruel colonels, for example – and gives it to those who need it, acting as a vigilante for his people.

In total there were about 40 members, men and women. They chose their own nicknames to conceal their identity, something usually related to them.
There were also the wealthy landowners and colonels, whose word was law at the time, thanks to money and power, the police, and the flying squads – specialized in hunting down bandits.
