Cat Noir: His Other Side

When he transforms into Cat Noir, he reveals a part of himself that he normally keeps hidden.

As Cat Noir, he's a joker, daring, playful, and much more spontaneous. He constantly cracks jokes, takes more risks, and expresses his emotions more freely. This personality isn't fake; it's actually a part of Adrien that he rarely gets to show in his daily life because of the expectations placed upon him.

His father: Gabriel Agreste

Gabriel Agreste is probably the person who most influences Adrien's personality.

Adrien loves his father and seeks his approval, but he also feels frustrated because Gabriel controls many aspects of his life. For years he has had strict schedules, mandatory activities, and little freedom to make decisions for himself.

That explains why Adrien values ​​friendship and freedom so much.

Marinette Dupain-Cheng

Marinette Dupain-Cheng is deeply in love with Adrien for much of the series. When she's around him, she often gets nervous, stumbles over her words, acts strangely, or tries to impress him.

Adrien, however, doesn't interpret those signals as love. He generally thinks Marinette is a kind, talented friend who's a little eccentric when she's nervous. It's not that he's deliberately ignoring her; he's simply unaware of her feelings for him for a long time.

Nino Lahiffe

Nino Lahiffe is probably Adrien's best friend. He's laid-back, funny, loyal, and always tries to support him. Nino was one of the first true friends Adrien made after years of being pretty isolated by his father's rules.

With Nino, he can act more like a normal teenager and talk about things he wouldn't talk about with adults.

Alya Césaire

What is Adrien like?

Adrien is kind even to people who don't treat him well. He tries to see the best in others and rarely holds grudges. He is patient, respectful, and usually avoids conflict.

His family

Adrien lives with his father, Gabriel Agreste, a famous fashion designer. Gabriel is usually very strict, controlling, and emotionally distant. After his wife's disappearance, he became even more withdrawn and demanding of Adrien. Because of this, Adrien spent much of his childhood isolated and with few opportunities to make friends.

His mother, Emilie Agreste, was a loving and caring person. Adrien loved her very much, and her absence is one of the things that affects him most emotionally. Many of his actions and feelings are related to his memory of her.

He also has a bodyguard and family assistant named Nathalie Sancoeur, who on several occasions shows that she cares more about him than his own father.
