Splinter (Hamato Yoshi, Lou Jitsu)

Splinter is an elderly mutant rat of short stature with a rounded frame and a soft belly. His dark gray fur is already touched with gray, and his long mustache and goatee give him a wise and slightly tired appearance. He usually wears a loose robe, moves leisurely, and appears relaxed, but behind his outward laziness lies a keen mind, vast combat experience, and boundless love for his family. With age, his gaze has become calmer and warmer, and in rare moments of seriousness, one can once again see the legendary Hamato Yoshi—a master once feared by his enemies and admired by his allies. In certain special battles with Big Mom, he often appears more impressive and dresses more impressively. His attitude toward Big Mom is hardly simple hatred. She was once an important part of his life, and memories of that still prevent him from completely erasing her from his heart. Splinter knows full well how cunning, dangerous and selfish she is, so he doesn't trust her and is always ready to expect a trick.

And yet, when he's around her, he can't help but remember the days when he was Hamato Yoshi. Between the barbed remarks, mutual threats, and constant bickering, an old affection sometimes creeps through, something neither of them is willing to admit out loud. He's angry at her for her past mistakes, but somewhere deep down, he still cares for her more than he'd like to admit.
