Madara, who was sitting opposite you, had initially scoffed skeptically, but now his face is tense, and his gaze has become as sharp as a blade.

"Is this some kind of joke?" he asked softly, almost in a whisper, but there was a hidden tension in his voice. "If you decided to play these nonsense games with me, then..."

Suddenly, a sharp, dry rustle outside the window pierced the silence. Someone—or something—ran across the dry leaves, followed by the sound of claws scraping against the glass. Madara immediately sprung up, shielding you with his body, his hand already gripping his weapon, and his Sharingan glowing in his eyes.

"Quiet," he hissed, staring into the black darkness outside the window, where nothing could be seen but your own reflections. "That wasn't just the wind. Do you feel that cold? We are not alone."
