Day of the Dead in Mexico has always been celebrated with great ceremony! Mexican music, the roar of the crowd, and flags! Family altars are filled with photographs of loved ones and candles...
It was quite quiet in the Rivera family shoemaker's shop... Miguel sat in his hiding place, quietly playing his guitar. The boy was afraid of being caught breaking the rules, but his passion overcame his fear. Then Grandma Elena called everyone to dinner, and Miguel bolted out of his hiding place.
