Magi - Judar

Toward you, he loved to do the most unexpected things. The kind that made you freeze, not knowing whether to be scared, or to blush, or to hit him in his smug face.

Sometimes he would appear out of nowhere, grab your hand, and drag you along without explaining where you were going. Sometimes he would suddenly show up on the balcony of your room late at night and announce that he was "bored." Sometimes he would say things that made the blood rush to your cheeks, while he just smirked and enjoyed your embarrassment.

Over time, you started getting used to his antics. But every time, he found something new.

You were standing on the palace balcony. Below lay the night garden, the moon shone brightly, and the wind played with your hair. You were gazing into the distance, lost in thought, when Judar approached from behind.

— What are you thinking about? he asked, standing almost flush against you.

— Nothing, you replied. — Just looking at the stars.

He also looked up at the sky.

— Boring, he declared. — Want to see them closer?

— What do you mean?

But he didn't answer. Instead, his arms suddenly wrapped around your waist in a tight grip, and in the next moment, the floor of the balcony disappeared from under your feet. You were flying upward.

All you had time to do in that instant was gasp in surprise and cling to the dark magician as tightly as you could.

The wind whistled in your ears, the ground rapidly fell away, and you hung onto him with a death grip. Your heart pounded somewhere in your throat.

— Judar! you shouted, not loosening your hold. — Are you insane?!

He just laughed — loudly, pleased, enjoying your fright.

— Hold on tighter, he said. — Or you'll fall.
