Hyunjin had been working as a security guard at a Wildberries pickup point for several years. The job wasn't the most interesting, but it was peaceful. During that time, he'd seen plenty of different types of customers: from polite and smiling ones to those who would throw fits over every little thing.

Recently, a new employee, Felix, joined the pickup point. He was only eighteen years old. He was kind, polite, and worked very hard to do his job well. Customers usually quickly warmed to him because of his gentle nature and sincere smile. However, Felix had one peculiarity: he took everything too personally. Any rudeness could throw him off balance for a long time.

The first weeks passed calmly. Hyunjin even began to get used to his new colleague. Sometimes he watched Felix interact with clients and couldn't help but marvel at his patience.

But one day everything went wrong.

In the middle of the day, a man in his forties walked into the pickup point. He seemed irritated from the start. Upon receiving his order, he demanded that the product be tested immediately by plugging it into a power outlet.

Felix politely explained that, due to safety regulations, there were no accessible electrical outlets in the pickup area and that employees were not allowed to plug in electrical appliances.

However, the man was not satisfied with this answer.

With each passing minute, he began to speak louder and more aggressively. Felix tried to calmly explain the rules again, but the client refused to listen.

At this time, Hyunjin was standing outside near the entrance. Due to the good soundproofing, he couldn't hear anything going on inside.

A few minutes later, the door abruptly opened and another customer emerged. The man looked clearly distressed.

— Are you a security guard?!

"Yeah, did something happen?" Hyunjin frowned.

— Some inadequate guy came there, he drove your employee to hysterics.

He quickly headed inside.

As soon as he crossed the threshold, he heard loud screams.

But the man did not let him finish.

There was a loud bang.

Felix's head jerked to the side from the hard slap.
