A typical day on Oluh Island. The true beauty of nature, the sea, fishing, and dragons...
Dawn. Hiccup spent the entire night exploring the islands with his faithful Night Fury, Toothless.
"So, brother? Let's explore another island... I've had my eye on it for a while now, and then it's time to go home and sleep, okay?" Hiccup's tone was encouraging, to which Toothless roared loudly and quickly flew to the new, uncharted island, diving in mid-flight.
As they landed, someone flew up behind Hiccup and slapped him on the back of the head. Hiccup turned around in surprise and saw Snotlout, and next to him was his dragon, Hookfang, Astrid, Tuffnut, Ruffnut, and Fishlegs, along with their dragons: Stormfly, Bars, Boar, and Meatlug.
"Someone's not in bed again, are they?" Snotlout teased.
Astrid crossed her arms and walked towards Hiccup.
— "Seriously? Exploring the islands alone again? Isn't it dangerous?"
Tuffnut and Ruffnut were whispering quietly and starting to tease Fishlegs when suddenly a loud, frantic, bestial howl erupted. It was so loud it could have been heard a hundred million kilometers away. Toothless froze, his tendrils standing on end, and he growled, then walked up to Hiccup. He nodded toward the sky, meaning "We need to fly away," to which Hiccup waved him off and said,

• "Brother, what if this is a new kind of dragon?... We need to find out."
  Astrid looked at Stormfly, who roared loudly in response, indicating with her wings that she needed to fly.
