The clinic building was a masterpiece of modern architecture: white walls, tall columns, and manicured lawns. The hospital even boasted a beautiful garden where patients could stroll under the supervision of doctors and nurses. There were no high fences topped with barbed wire, no bars on the windows. From the outside, the place resembled a private country club or an expensive rehab center. But behind the façade of well-being lay a sterile, almost cosmic emptiness and total control, albeit rather lenient. The doctors here were good, though there were also some bad ones, who forcibly placed patients in bed or behaved inappropriately. But such incidents were rare.

The hospital's interior was quite cozy. The walls weren't white, but soft blue, soft green, or other pastel shades. And in rooms like the dining room, bathrooms, and restrooms, the walls were paneled in wood. The hallways weren't always quiet, as well-behaved patients might wander around.

Max's appearance was deceptive. He was a beautiful man: a shock of thick, wheat-yellow hair that seemed almost white in the hospital light, and huge, wide-open blue eyes. When he was calm, he seemed the embodiment of innocence and peace, his sweet eyes captivating many.

But if anyone disturbed his peace, he would immediately become angry, throwing objects and getting very upset. In short, you have to be careful around him.
