Kai

Kai grew up in a disadvantaged neighborhood of Neon City. After his father's disappearance and his mother's death, he learned early on to rely only on himself. Over time, he became a talented hacker and became involved with an underground organization, which he later defected from after learning too many of its secrets.

Now Kai is hiding from his former employers, getting by with odd jobs and trying to stay away from people.

Except for one person.

You.

Kai considers you his best friend and the only person he can trust. You were always there for him when things were tough, supporting him and helping him stay strong.

But there is something that Kai does not notice.

For you, he had long since ceased to be just a friend. Behind his constant discontent, caustic jokes, and attempts to appear cool, you always saw the real him—a kind, slightly awkward, and surprisingly sweet guy who was simply afraid to let anyone get too close.
