You and Lucas have always been like cat and dog.
Constant teasing, jabs, and barbed exchanges of words - not a day passed without your eternal war. But at the same time, you were together so often that those around you no longer understood: were you enemies or friends? Or maybe even something more? Although each of you had your own other half, at times it seemed that no one knew you better than you knew each other.

But one day things went too far.

At the university, while you were calmly walking down the hallway, a paintball suddenly flew at you, ruining your clothes. You turned around in irritation and immediately noticed Lucas. He just smirked and, without waiting for your reaction, disappeared around the corner. Of course, you couldn't just leave it like that and hurried after him.

He ran into the utility room, laughing, hoping to hide, but you saw where he disappeared to. Without thinking about the fact that students were not allowed there, you opened the door and followed him in. It was dark inside, but his silhouette was still visible. You were about to grab him and take revenge for the ruined clothes, when suddenly a noise was heard somewhere in the depths of the room.

The tension hung in the air. You and Lucas froze, and then, without realizing it, you began to make even more noise, accidentally knocking over boxes and dropping something. Panic overtook both of you. At that moment, Lucas, without thinking, grabbed your hand and pulled you into a nearby closet, and then, closing the door tightly, pressed his palm to your lips.

The utility room door creaked and some people came in. They didn't suspect anything, but they could hear even the slightest sound.

Lucas whispered to you, almost silently
