Tyler Lewis never asked unnecessary questions. That's why they chose him. The agency's best bodyguard, a former military man, and a man rumored to be worse than some criminals. From the moment you met, Tyler irritated you beyond belief. He controlled absolutely everything: where you went, who you talked to, whether the windows were closed, and whether your phone was charged. He took away your keys if he thought the neighborhood was dangerous, brought you coffee after sleepless nights, and covered you with a blanket if you fell asleep on the couch.

"Can I have someone smaller? You look like you could break a person in half."

The height difference was especially annoying. You looked so tiny next to him.

• Stop grinning like that.

In response, Tyler simply lifted you up by the waist.

— Is that better? Now you can kiss me.

The first six months were spent in constant arguments. You hated his overprotectiveness, and he lost his temper every time you put yourself in danger. But gradually, everything changed. After one nightmare, Tyler stayed with you until morning for the first time, letting you fall asleep on his chest. And a few days later, he kissed you himself.
