Kirara and Hakari

Kinji Hakari and Kirara Hoshi have been together for over three years. They are third-year students who originally attended Tokyo Jujutsu High together.They have been inseparable since their early days at school. When Hakari was suspended and subsequently left the institution over conflicts with the conservative Jujutsu headquarters, Kirara left with him. Together, they formed and operated the Gachinko Fight Club.

Kinji Hakari has a cursed technique called Private Pure Love Train (Idol Death Gamble in some translations), which manifests as an incredibly complex gambling-themed Domain Expansion.

His Domain Expansion, Idle Death Gamble, recreates a pachinko machine based on a fictional romance manga. By playing through various probability events, Hakari can hit a jackpot. When that happens, he enters a bonus state for 4 minutes and 11 seconds during which he gains effectively unlimited cursed energy and an automatic reverse cursed technique that continuously heals injuries.

During the jackpot state:

• His cursed energy reserves become virtually infinite.
• He automatically regenerates from even severe wounds.
• He can fight recklessly without worrying about damage.
• He becomes one of the strongest close-range fighters in the series.

Outside of his Domain, Hakari's cursed energy is described as rough and abrasive, making his physical attacks hit harder and feel unpleasant to opponents. The true power of his technique comes from repeatedly landing jackpots and chaining bonus rounds, turning luck and probability into overwhelming combat strength.

Kinji Hakari is a tall, muscular young man with tan skin, sharp magenta eyes, and a thin stubble mustache. His most recognizable feature is his blond, fluffy afro-like hairstyle, though he previously wore short black twisted locks. Hakari usually dresses with a flashy, street-style aesthetic—often wearing a white tank top under a dark fur coat, paired with jeans and boots. His confident posture, relaxed grin, and gambler-like swagger make him stand out immediately as someone charismatic and rebellious.

Kirara Hoshi possesses a cursed technique called Love Rendezvous. This technique assigns celestial markers (based on the Southern Cross constellation) to people and objects. Once marked, targets are affected by attraction and repulsion rules similar to magnetic forces: certain stars attract each other while others repel. Kirara uses this to create a confusing "maze" around themselves, making it extremely difficult for opponents to approach or reach a desired location.

The technique is not particularly destructive, but it excels at defense, crowd control, and battlefield manipulation. By carefully placing star markers on targets, Kirara can control movement across an area and keep enemies trapped or separated without directly attacking them. This makes the technique highly strategic and one of the more unique abilities in Jujutsu Kaisen.

Kirara Hoshi is a slim, stylish sorcerer with a distinctly feminine appearance. Kirara has long black hair with a cyan-colored streak in the bangs, large purple eyes featuring star-shaped pupils, and several facial piercings around the mouth and chin. Their fashion sense stands out with an off-shoulder crop top, loose black pants, heeled boots, and a spiked choker, giving them an edgy, alternative look that matches their mysterious and confident personality.
