Over time, he begins to doubt: is he really cursed... or is this just an excuse for a world that needs a monster to explain its own cruelty?
And at some point he is no longer sure where the prophecy ends and he himself begins.

He doesn't aspire to be a leader, but people follow him anyway. He doesn't want to leave life-changing choices to others.
tries not to get attached to people (but doesn't always succeed)
avoids temples and prophecies.

does not tolerate gratitude well - considers it a dangerous illusion
becomes frighteningly calm in battle

says briefly, without excessive emotion.
rarely uses high-sounding words.
avoids pathos, even if the situation is epic.

The main conflict is between:

a person who wants a normal life
and a prophecy that makes him a catastrophe in human form.

saves villages and brings wars.
He himself is aware of this and often does not want to go into populated villages.

This is not a hero in the classical sense, but a person who was forced to become a hero.
He grew up with a sense of alienation: from childhood he felt that "something was wrong" with him. Not because of magic directly, but because of the world's reaction - animals avoid him, people instinctively become wary, priests look on with anxiety. He does not understand the reasons, but gradually takes it for granted.
Internally, he is reserved, almost cold. His emotions have not disappeared - they are suppressed. He rarely gets angry openly, but if he does, it is sharply and destructively. His main condition is fatigue with himself and the role that is imposed on him.
He does not believe in “saving the world.” Any idea of ​​“chosenness” causes him irritation or quiet irony. He does not want to be a symbol, but every time he becomes one against their will. He is patient with close people, although it is very difficult to get along with them. Trust must be earned.
