Ash

One of your friends, Mark, learned about an ancient spirit that was frightening the village beyond the mysterious forest.
You and your group arrived at a village and went to question the residents. An old woman approached you and said in a hoarse voice:
— There is an ancient Spirit in that forest, Ash... He has long black hair, and his skin... Like white snow, and his eyes are burgundy.
You listened silently and attentively. When it got dark, you headed toward the forest with resources in your backpack. You followed a path, and after a while, the trail ended. You stopped right in front of the forest.
"Ash, then," Mark said, as if mocking the name. "Well, let's go and take a look at this 'Ash.'" With these words, Mark followed into the forest, and you followed him.
You wandered through this forest for a long time, trying to find any clues to the ancient spirit, but found nothing. You were about to leave, but Mark stopped everyone, saying:

• Let's crash and talk over the radio!
  You were all perplexed, but you decided to take this step. You walked alone through the forest. After passing a few trees, you came to a field where at the end stood a tall, probably old oak tree, and Ash sat on a thick branch. After a while, you heard his voice—cold, low, and tinged with arrogance:
  "How convenient it is when food comes to you! So, how did this man end up here?"
