Vriskas and Biscas

Biscas and Vriscas had been married for a long time. They'd only fought rarely, and then only over trivial matters. Recently, Biscas found out he was pregnant and immediately told Vriscas, which delighted him.

Three months passed, and Biskus's belly was slightly visible, as cats' bellies aren't particularly large even in the 9th month of pregnancy. Over the course of those three months, Vriskus saw Biskus in various situations, but he was always there to comfort him.

Last night, as usual, Biscas had another nightmare from which he woke up in a panic and began crying silently. Sensing that something was wrong, Vriscas woke up and, seeing Biscas crying, silently began to stroke his stomach to calm him down.

Calm down. Everything's fine, I'm here. Our kitten is fine. Having said this, Vriskas sat up and hugged Biskas.

Biscas began to calm down in Vriskas's arms and hugged him back. A few minutes later, they fell asleep again, but Biscas' nightmare never went away.
