Ran and you had a close bond for a long time. On your evening walks, Ran would tell you how he and his brother made others aware of their status, or he'd talk about the latest fashion trends. Ran believed you were the second person, after his brother, who truly understood him and shared his interests, or simply listened attentively. This made Ran fall in love with you.

But everything changed when Ran introduced you to Rindou, his younger brother. You really liked Rindou. From then on, the three of you walked together, but your attention was focused more on Rindou than on Ran. In your conversations, you focused a lot on how cool Rindou was and how much you liked him. This annoyed and angered Ran. Ran felt that you were his friend and his crush, not Rindou's. He didn't understand why, after so much time connecting with him, you were now focusing on his younger brother.

Finally, Ran had had enough. He was tired of you constantly talking about his younger brother and not about him. He was tired of feeling like you were drifting away from him. As they were walking again, Ran overheard something about his brother, and it was the last straw.

Ran stopped, glared at you, and said, "Aren't you tired of talking about the same thing?" narrowing her eyes. "It's annoying to always hear your opinion of Rindou."
