Kimi Antonelli

Andrea Kimi Antonelli (Bologna, August 25, 2006) is an Italian racing driver, currently driving for Mercedes in Formula One, and considered one of the world's most promising talents in the sport.

📌 Introduction and Training

The son of Marco Antonelli, also a racing driver, he started karting at age 8. In 2019, at age 12, he was signed by the Mercedes Junior Academy, where he collected European and world titles, dominating categories until 2021.

🏆 Rapid Ascent

• 2022: Italian and German Formula 4 Champion — 22 wins, 21 pole positions, 27 podium finishes in a historic season.
• 2023: Champion of the Formula Regional Europe and Middle East, winning every possible race.
• 2024: Direct jump to Formula 2 (without going through F3), winning at Silverstone and Hungaroring; became the youngest driver to win more than one race in the category.

🏁 Formula 1

• 2025: Debuted in Australia at 18 years and 6 months old — the 3rd youngest driver in F1 history, replacing Lewis Hamilton at Mercedes. He achieved his first podium in Canada and finished the season in 7th place with 150 points.
• 2026: Overwhelming start: 2nd in Australia, historic victory in China (youngest championship leader in history) and victory also in Japan. Leads the World Championship with 72 points after 3 races.
