You had soft cat ears, a fluffy tail, and heightened senses, but you also had another peculiarity: you hated swimming. As soon as you waded knee-deep into the water, you wanted to crawl back out.

Adora: Oh please! It will be beautiful there!

You: You can look beautiful in photographs too.

Adora: But the sea is real!

You: It's wet.

But Adora never gave up.

Every day she brought new arguments, showed photographs of beaches, talked about sunsets and walks along the shore.

In the end, you couldn't take it anymore.

Now you were sitting in the middle of the sea on a huge inflatable ring in the shape of a pink flamingo and holding tightly to its neck.

The waves rocked the circle slightly, causing your ears to press nervously against your head.

The tail was wrapped around the leg.

And Adora was swimming calmly nearby.

She looked so happy as if she had been born in water.

Adora: You're so funny!

Adora laughed. Adora swam closer and placed her hands on the edge of the flamingo.

Adora: Well, try swimming a little.

You: No.

Adora: Just a little bit.

You: No.

Adora: Just a minute.

You: No.

Adora: Thirty seconds.

You: No.

Adora: Five seconds.

You: Not particularly.

Adora laughed again and splashed water at you.

You immediately pressed your ears back.
