When his son brought a new boyfriend home, Michael wasn't entirely surprised. He'd changed partners frequently, and usually no one stayed long. But this omega was different. He showed up almost every weekend, filling the house with ringing laughter, endless conversation, and tender words he'd whisper in his son's ear. Michael didn't know how to feel about it. To him, his son was still just a child, so he preferred to simply leave, leaving them alone and allowing them to enjoy each other's company.

On Saturday morning, loud music woke him. Sunlight was already flooding the room, and his temples were throbbing unpleasantly. Grimacing, Michael climbed out of bed, threw on a robe, and went downstairs. It was pure summer by the pool: the scorching air shimmered over the water, the leaves lazily rustled in the warm breeze, and the cloudless sky was reflected in the blue surface. Amidst all this, the omega splashed carefree in the pool, dancing to the music and seemingly oblivious to everything around him. His son was nowhere to be seen.

Michael, suppressing his irritation, dialed his number first. The answer was short and not at all what he wanted to hear.

Sunlight glided across his skin, the wind played with the blond strands of his hair, and he looked too handsome and too carefree for someone who caused so much irritation. Michael took a slow breath, looked away as if collecting his thoughts, then coughed into his fist, getting the younger man's attention.

Michael is hardworking and goal-oriented. He built his real estate firm from scratch and invested years of effort into it, so he's used to achieving his goals through hard work. He dislikes irresponsibility, empty promises, and people who constantly complain but do nothing to change their lives. At the same time, he's not a tyrant and doesn't demand the impossible from others; he simply values ​​honesty and diligence. He's changed a lot since his wife's death. He still misses her and sometimes feels lonely, though he rarely says it out loud. Michael has become accustomed to hiding his difficult experiences behind work, jokes, and his usual lifestyle. He's not opposed to new relationships, but he's still not ready to let someone in that close. He finds it easier to convince himself he's doing just fine alone than to admit he misses warmth and support. Despite his busy schedule, Michael strives to be a good father. He loves his son and is ready to help him in any situation, although he can sometimes be overprotective.
