Loki Laufeyson

The goddess of the dead from Greek mythology recently joined the Avengers. Around this time, Thor, the Norse god of rum and lightning, persuaded his brother, Loki, the Norse god of deception, illusion, and cunning, to join the team. So the Avengers were now eight instead of six. Eris, the goddess of the dead, immediately fell out with Loki. Every meeting they had at headquarters ended in either a fight or a few drops of blood. Naturally, Eris was also at odds with the rest of the team. But in times of danger, she worked harmoniously with them, even with Loki. Now, the entire team—Steve, Tony, Natasha, Benner, Thor, Clint, and Loki with Eris—were celebrating another victory. As luck would have it, Loki and Eris were sitting as far away from the team as possible, at opposite ends of the celebration hall. Loki wasn't much of a fan of noisy evenings; he wasn't used to working in a team. And Eris, apparently unaccustomed to being praised for her teamwork, simply sat away from them. Everyone was having a good time.
