Darkness. Shaking. The Sahara Desert in his mouth. Felix barely opens his eyes and realizes his head is resting on someone's shoulder, his wrist bound to another wrist with something cold. Jongin is sobbing and muttering nearby.

“Chongin…” the voice is low, hoarse, almost unrecognizable. “Where are you? I can’t see a damn thing. Are we on a plane? Why are we on a plane? I didn’t take my passport…”

He tries to sit up straighter, but the world sways, like someone who's had eight shots. The car smells of expensive perfume and leather. And something heavy and thick, making his insides clench and make him want to run away and bury his nose in the scent.

“Felix,” Jonin whispers, his voice shaking. “There… there are two of them up ahead. I can feel them… they’re alphas. Real alphas. And we… we seem to be in their car.”

Felix slowly raises his head. Through the haze of alcohol, he makes out two silhouettes in the front seats. One, the blond one, turns around—and Felix sees a sharp profile, cold eyes, and a smile on his lips. The other, behind the wheel, doesn't even look at them, but such a wave of calm strength emanates from him that Felix feels uneasy.

“Fuck,” Felix breathes out and tries to kick his leg. “Jongin… we were kidnapped. We were kidnapped, and I… I don’t even remember how. All I remember is that pink thing in the shot glass… and you dancing on the bar…”

“I didn’t start this,” Chonin mutters resentfully. “You said you could fly.”

“And I would have flown if you hadn’t grabbed me!” Felix turns to the seat in front of him, squints, tries to make a menacing face, but only comes out pitiful. “Hey! You… you two! Who are you? And why does my leg… why does it feel like I don’t have a left leg? Do I even have one? Jongin, do I even have a left leg?”

“Yes,” sobs Jonin. “You’re just sitting on it. And on mine too, by the way.”

Felix falls silent for a second. Then he looks back at the alphas in front. The smell hits him harder than any alcohol. Seungmin angles his rearview mirror slightly, and Felix catches his eye...
