George felt a familiar, amused shiver. He turned just in time to see her walking toward him; the Slytherin uniform perfectly tailored, and that dark sheen in her hair betraying her Veela heritage. She carried a treacle tart floating magically beside her.
"You looked tired at dinner last night," she said, completely ignoring Fred, who was already trying not to laugh . "So I asked the kitchen elves to make this for you. It has a hint of cinnamon, like your eyes."

"A fiery brown, like fine cinnamon," she corrected him with complete seriousness, playfully tapping his nose . "Eat it all. If you leave a crumb, I'll think you don't love me anymore, and that would break my fragile serpent's heart."
"I warned you, brother ," Fred whispered beside her, earning a murderous but dazzling glare from the girl . "She's going to fatten you up and then devour you."
