The victim's weapons throughout the episode—hammers, swords, lassos, shurikens—continue the recurring motif of him using the same weapons as in the original episodes of Animator vs. Animation, The Box, and Hacker. The Agent's decision to help Yellow by entering his passcodes is the first time the mercenary has actively helped the Stick gang, and it reflects his transformation from a loyal thug to an independent moral leader. The design of the Machine—which combines a memory scanner, cloning tanks, and TDL dark energy—is a thematic synthesis of all three seasons' technology: the Flash animation tools from Season 1, the computer programs from Season 2, and the Outernet technology from Season 3. noogai3's "Come Home" message is his first direct text communication with Stick Gang after the collaboration period shown at the end of Animator vs. Animation 4 . This is the second episode where the Dark Lord escapes rather than being completely defeated; the first case was shown at the end of the Showdown series. In both cases, he is severely weakened, but survives. The scene where the victim sits with Mitzy's party hat echoes the moment in the episode " The Victim ", when he first picked her up after her disappearance, framing his storyline in both episodes. The title of the episode "The Machine" carries several thematic meanings: a literal recovery device, the Rocket Company organization as a revenge machine, and the victim himself turned into a "machine" that functions solely on grief and rage until TSC returns them to their original state.

Trivia : This is the first episode of Season 3 to break the six-letter pattern in its title: the word "Machine" has seven letters. All four previous episodes of Season 3 — "Wanted", "TheBox", "Victim", and "Hacker" — contained exactly six letters. According to Skim, he considers "Hacker" and "The Machine" to be one long episode, divided into two parts. [ 1 ] This is the first time that the Second Coming has consciously and purposefully used its abilities related to green particles of life, as opposed to Showdown, where they were activated unconsciously due to trauma. His waking state fighting style reflects this difference: in Rumble, his attacks were explosive and uncontrollable; here, every action is calibrated and defensive in nature, he never attacks H4CK3R - only deflects blows. This is the first time that the Chosen One and the Second Coming have fought side by side as active adversaries, having previously only interacted during the crisis with the Virabots, where the Chosen One was a bystander. Yellow's renaming back to "The Chosen One" echoes his role in the episode "Showdown", where he moved the noogai3 cursor to the Outternet - in both cases, Yellow uses his hacking skills to reconnect with an important ally at a crucial moment.

Errors In the opening scene, when the Dark Lord's Weerabot travels over an Ethernet cable, the inside of the cable is shown as a single tunnel, contradicting the multi-layered construction of the internet pipes shown in the episodes " Flashback " and " Sacrifice ". As the Stick gang enters the main bay, Red appears in front of Green for a moment, even though he was behind him in the previous shot. The moment Yellow renames Nobody back to "Favorite", the typing sound effects continue for two more keystrokes after the name has already been written. The design of the code shackles on the wrists of NO ONE changes between the scene of the capture of the rock (angular, segmented) and the scene of the connection to the Machine (smooth, rounded). When the TDL breaks through a destroyed wall, its trajectory is shown as moving to the right when shooting from the inside, but to the left when shooting from the outside. On the ALANSPC side, noogai3, who cautiously plugged in his computer's power cable and saw a still open portal on the screen, sends a single text message: " Come home ". The Stick gang gathers at the breach in the building. TSC looks back one last time at the victim and the Agent, then walks through the portal with his friends. The Chosen One follows him, stopping at the threshold to look at Outernet—the world he terrorized, the world he tried to save—before stepping inside.

TSC turns to H4CK3R, who is kneeling in front of an empty room. His eyepiece's blue glow flickers, and his abilities are unstable without the support of the name "H4CK3R", the name given by the noogai3 cursor, an ability that depends on the animator's authority. TSC slowly approaches him. H4CK3R does not move. TSC kneels down next to him and places both hands on H4CK3R's shoulders. Green energy flows gently from the palms of TSC's palms – not an attack, not a forced redefinition, but rather a question. The code spreads through the body of H4CK3R: the eyepiece cracks and falls off; hacker constructs dissolve; the name "H4CK3R" is buggy, distorted, and letter by letter rewritten back into "victim."

The victim sits on the floor of a ruined bay, small, gray and helpless, just like she was on the day she escaped from a noogai3 laptop eighteen years ago. In his hands, he holds Mitsy's party hat — found in his office at some point in the episode — and looks at it. The agent walks over and kneels beside him. Not one of them utters a word. The chosen one approaches the victim and stops a few steps away from him. Two of noogai3's earliest creations look at each other. The expression of the Chosen One's face is unreadable. It was he who raided the Newgrounds, it was he, without knowing it, who caused Mitzy's death, it was he who started this whole process. He doesn't apologize—he's silent—but he bows his head slightly. Confession of the deed. The victim looks at him, then looks away and does not answer.

TDL confronts the two of them: the Second Coming, ablaze with conscious green energy, and the Chosen One, embraced by a newly ignited fire. Together, they push TDL back. TSC uses telekinesis to rip apart the Virabots and hurl the wreckage while TCO bombards them with fire and laser vision. TDL fights furiously, summoning caustic structures and swarms of Virabots, but it weakens without a Vehicle boost. TSC and TCO instinctively coordinate their actions – TCO presses the TDL with fire, while TSC charges a focused green beam; TDL dodges the TCO laser.

The machine, having lost its power source, begins to collapse. Inside the central chamber, Mitzy's figure — almost complete, its outline almost solid — flickers one last time and dissolves into disappearing particles of dark energy and memory data. H4CK3R, who has stopped fighting and has been watching what is happening, reaches for the camera. Particles float through his fingers. It disappears again. His hand goes down along his body.

TDL, cornered and weakened, gathers the remaining Virabots into a defensive sphere around him. TSC prepares to break through, but TDL makes a final maneuver - it blasts the Virabotov outward, creating a smoke screen, and fires a concentrated beam into the far wall of the facility, punching a hole from the outside. He bursts through it, leaving a trail of dark energy in his wake, and disappears into the skies of the Outset. The few surviving Virabots follow him through the breach. TCO tries to chase after him, but TSC puts a hand on his shoulder. TCO stops. They watch the TDL's dark silhouette shrink in the distance.

Silence reigns in the bay. The floor is littered with broken robot works. The car stands dark and motionless, its central chamber empty. Workers are slowly coming out of their hiding places. The mercenaries—beaten, their leader having just betrayed the man they served—put down their weapons and retreat.

The agent turns to Yellow and actively helps Stick's gang for the first time. He connects his hand-held device to the console, giving Yellow the access codes to the hidden TDL circuit. Yellow's eyes widen as he cuts the chain completely. The flow of energy in the TDL stops. The Dark Lord staggers, his buff interrupted.

TSC sees an opportunity. It flies towards TDL – indeed it flies, driven by green energy, not by fire or jet engines, but by the same force that animates all living drawings in the Outer Grid. TDL comes to its senses and greets it with an explosion of dark energy. Their collision sends a shockwave across the bay, shattering windows and knocking the Virabots off their feet. TSC and TDL exchange blows - green vs. red-black, creation vs. corruption. The TSC laser – a bright green beam, not orange or white, but the pure color of Green Life Particles – meets a jagged, unstable TDL dark laser. The rays collide and twist, tearing the floor beneath them.

No one is watching from the ground. He looks down at his hands, empty, powerless, with the name "NOBODY" still engraved in his code. He then sees Yellow behind the console. With great effort, he crawls towards Yellow and pats him on the shoulder. He points to himself, to the name that binds his personality. Yellow immediately understands. It logs in, finds the character properties for "NOBODY" and, with keystroke after keystroke, removes the H4CK3R name assigned to it. He types: "The Chosen One".

The effect is instantaneous. The energy is returned to the TCO body. His eyes flash with a familiar orange light. Fire bursts out of his fists. He rises into the air and flies on his own for the first time in an episode. He looks at Yellow and nods—a gesture of gratitude—before rushing into the fray next to TSC.

H4CK3R, in the midst of a TDL fight, sees the Machine begin to malfunction and Mitsy's form falters. He breaks free from the TDL grip and rushes towards the Machine, yelling (text) at Yellow to stop. Yellow hesitates, looking at TSC for guidance. TSC sees H4CK3R's despair—the grief, love, months, and years of pain that drive him—and for a moment, he doesn't know what to do. Then he sees that there is no one on earth, and they disappear. He sees TDL Viworks appear. He nods to Yellow. The yellow one continues to disconnect.

H4CK3R lunges at Yellow, but TSC stands in between. For the first time, H4CK3R and the Second Coming come face to face in direct combat. H4CK3R releases a beam from its eyepiece; TSC raises his hand, and a barrier of green energy absorbs the explosion. H4CK3R summons a huge hammer from Rocket Co. data, the same weapon the victim once used against the noogai3 cursor. TSC catches it with telekinesis, the hammer freezes in mid-air, crackling green electricity, and then carefully lowers it. He doesn't attack. He only defends himself.

H4CK3R, in a rage, unleashes all its might on the enemy—a barrage of weapons, code beams, and lasso constructs—but TSC deflects or absorbs each of them, green particles swirling around it in a controlled, deliberate orbit. This is not an unconscious explosion of power from Dismantling. This is balanced. Deliberately. Every movement is a choice.

TDL, upon seeing Yellow disconnect its circuit, sends a huge stream of dark energy to the console. Blue intercepts him, confronting the force with his whole body. Red and Green rush at TDL at the same time, but he knocks them aside. TDL fires a barrage of caustic spikes at Yellow, and he hides behind the console. The agent, having fought his way through the ranks of the Virabots, arrives at the console and protects Yellow with his body, deflecting the spikes with his linear tool.

The Stick gang arrives at the main entrance to the compartment and inspects the chaos that reigns: H4CK3R and TDL are fighting each other, the Work is swarming around, the Machine is pulsing with unstable energy, and NO ONE is conscious, being chained. TSC looks at its friends. The red cracks its fingers. The green one is cooking. Blue takes a deep breath. Yellow's gaze is riveted on the Machine's console.

They rush to attack. Red, Green, and Blue directly engage the Virabots, smashing, kicking, and throwing the arachnid creatures that rush in from all directions. Yellow rushes towards the Machine's console, dodging the Works and falling debris. TSC is headed straight to nowhere.

TSC makes it to NOONE and grabs the cables attached to its shackles. Green energy flows from TSC's hands into shackles, combination locks crack and fall off. NOONE falls, panting. TSC catches it and gently lowers it. NOONE looks at TSC — the little man who inherited his title, his legacy — with confusion and exhaustion. TSC helps him to his feet.

Yellow walks over to the console and starts working. The Machine's code is extremely complex – the layers of H4CK3R programming are intertwined with TDL dark energy patterns. Yellow isolates TDL's hidden energy siphoning circuit and begins to cut it. At that moment, the Machine jerks. Mitsy's form inside the chamber is further destabilized, her silhouette shimmering from solid to transparent.

The TSC camera lock is unlocked. Yellow opens the door, and the reinforced walls move apart. TSC stands in the center of his cell, his eyes open. They reflect a faint green glow — not an explosive awakening, as in Disassembly, but something more stable. Conscious glow. He nods to his friends. The Stick gang reunites and heads to the main bay.

The power output of the Machine begins to fluctuate. Mitzy's form, now denser than the shadow, flickers furiously. No one screams when the energy leak intensifies—their body begins to disappear at the edges, the residual energy inside them almost exhausted. H4CK3R notices instability and frantically adjusts the console. He turns to the TDL and sees dark energy flowing into the base of the Machine – and into the body of the TDL. The H4CK3R eyepiece scans the TDL and reveals a hidden pattern: half of the Machine's energy has been redirected. H4CK3R lashes out at TDL in a rage. TDL straightens up to his full height, his body is now completely healed, and he is smiling. He tells H4CK3R with gestures and dark energy projections that Mitsy's resurrection should always have happened - but on TDL terms, not H4CK3R. First, TDL intends to use the Machine's energy, enhanced by its restored abilities, to simultaneously open portals to Outeranet and the Internet, and unleash its army of Virabots on a scale unprecedented in the history of the digital world.

H4CK3R immediately attacks TDL, firing a concentrated beam of hacker energy at it. The TDL reflects it with one hand. Their fight shakes the main compartment - H4CK3R summons weapons from the object code, throwing swords, lassos and hammers at the TDL, while the TDL responds with shockwaves of dark energy and corrosive spikes. The workers scatter. The agent draws a weapon, aiming at TDL, but a swarm of newly awakened Virabots fill the room from the lower levels, forcing him to defend himself.

In the main compartment, the H4CK3R declares the machine ready. The agent watches from the side, his expression unreadable. The mercenaries, having recovered - Hazard is limping, Ballista's head is slightly dented, Primal is covered in dust - take up positions around the compartment as guards. H4CK3R puts his hand on the vehicle's activation console and hesitates. He looks at the central chamber, where the dark substance TDL is slowly bubbling, waiting for reconstruction data. He looks at the archive photo of Mitzy on the screen above. It activates the machine.

Energy is bubbling in the system. No one's body shudders as energy is diverted from it at an increasing rate. The memory data begins to be compiled and projected down into the central chamber. Silhouettes begin to form inside the dark substance - head, torso, arms. The outline is unmistakably Mitsy's. H4CK3R watches, barely breathing, as the silhouette slowly takes shape. Mitsy's form appears and disappears, like a signal trying to tune in. H4CK3R's hand shakes on the console.

What H4CK3R doesn't notice is TDL standing behind the Machine and pressing one hand against its base. Dark energy flows from his palm into the Machine's energy grid - but instead of feeding the reconstruction, it branches into a hidden circuit that TDL has woven into the structure. The energy is split: half goes to the Mitzy shape and the other half goes back to the TDL itself. His body begins to regenerate, as the cracks and damage from the devastating battle in Dismantling gradually heal. Its dark energy is growing. Throughout the facility, sleeping Viworks stored in the lower levels of Rocket Co. begin to move, their legs twitching, their eyes flickering red.

However, the Machine requires a huge source of energy for the recovery process. TDL indicates NOBODY. Even exhausted and renamed, the former Chosen One still contains residual energy, a faint echo of the years spent as one of noogai's most powerful creations. NO ONE is attracted to the Machine and connected to it using cables that are attached to the code shackles on their wrists. When the power test begins, NO ONE winces as the energy slowly moves away from their body. This is enough to partially disable the Machine.

Meanwhile, the Fighting Men are the first to find Yellow's cell. He is kept in a separate wing, his cell is guarded by two working clones. Green distracts them by rolling a metal container down the hallway, and as both guards turn around to investigate, Red jumps off the vent in the ceiling and stuns them both. Blue opens Yellow's cell using a keycard he took from one of the guards. Yellow, shocked but wary, immediately asks about the Second Coming. They are heading deep into the complex.

They find TSC's cell, an armored steel room with walls thick enough to contain his potential abilities. Red hits the door with force; It does not budge. Green looks for the control panel. Yellow examines the electronic lock and begins to work on it, pulling out the wires and reconfiguring the circuits. Blue presses his hand against the wall and taps — at a rhythmic, slow and measured pace. Inside, TSC opens your eyes. He hears Blue tapping and puts his hand on the same spot on the wall. A faint pulse of green energy runs through the steel for a moment. The fighting men retreat in surprise. Yellow works faster.

In his fortified cell, the Second Coming sits cross-legged on the floor with his eyes closed. He continues the meditation he began in Hacker, following the advice of his imaginary Blue. His breathing is slow and rhythmic. Beyond his consciousness, the greenish steel walls of his cell flicker from time to time—tiny sparks of Green Life Particles appear and disappear around his fingertips like nervous fireflies. He is approaching, but the power remains annoyingly unavailable. The construction of the Machine is progressing at a rapid pace. Workers carry the memory scanner, cloning tank components, and heavy power cables from the various wings of the facility to the main bay, assembling them into a towering structure in the center of the room. The memory scanner is mounted at the top, and its screen displays archived data files, including Mitzy's corporate records, photographs, and behavioral patterns cataloged over the years. Underneath it is a central chamber of reinforced glass and metal, large enough to accommodate a single figure. Ley lines run from the base of the Machine outward, like roots, connecting to the complex's generator network.

TDL weaves its dark energy into the core of the Machine, forming a dense lattice of black-red matter inside the central chamber. This, he explains to H4CK3R, would serve as a "body" — a malleable medium on which memory data could be imprinted, taking on Mitzy's physical form. H4CK3R, using his hacking skills, programs the Machine's software: a complex algorithm that matches every recorded memory of Mitzy — her movements, facial expressions, drawings, dances — and compiles them into a single reconstruction template. He works feverishly, his glowing blue eyepiece scanning lines of code faster than any worker could keep track of it.

In the main compartment, H4CK3R addresses the assembled workers from an elevated platform, flanked by the Dark Lord and flanked by the Agent. At the bottom, no one is depicted in a straitjacket, this is a visible trophy. H4CK3R announces a new project – the creation of a device that he calls simply "The Machine". Its goal: to recreate a living being from archival memory data. Get Mitzy back. Workers who remember their founder and the woman who helped build the company whisper to each other, but obey. TDL comes forward and displays its dark energy, forming tentacles of black-red matter that wriggle and harden on command. This, H4CK3R explains, will serve as the animating core of the Machine—the force that will give the recreated data physical form. Workers immediately begin to prepare.

Elsewhere in the facility, Red, Green, and Blue—after defeating Ballista, Primal, and Hazard respectively in the previous episode—hear an announcement echoing through the hallways. They exchange worried looks. The mercenaries they defeated are still incapacitated, but the situation has clearly worsened. Red wants to rush to the main compartment right away; Blue calls for caution; Green pulls out a sketch of the Rocket Co. logo he drew earlier, flips it over, and begins drawing a rough map of the complex based on the routes he's taken. They decide to find the Second Coming and the Yellow One before doing anything else.

At the water's edge, NOBODY—powerless, renamed the Chosen One—struggles to climb the rocks. Devoid of flight, fire, laser vision, or even a name, the once-invincible human can barely climb. The Dark Lord effortlessly climbs down, grabs NOBODY's arm and drags him up the sheer cliff. He throws it at H4CK3R's feet. NO ONE tries to get up, but TDL puts their foot on their back, forcing them to kneel. ViraBot runs up next to them. TDL rests his hands on his hips and looks with satisfaction at the kneeling figure through the open door of the compartment, behind which the forest and mountains are visible. NO ONE clutches a small gray restraint device that H4CK3R places around his wrists—a pair of coded shackles that suppress any residual energy in his body. H4CK3R looks at NO ONE for a long time. This is the creature that destroyed the Newgrounds that killed Mitsy. And now there is nothing left of him.

H4CK3R, TDL, Agent and NO ONE prisoner board hoverbikes and fly across the Outernet to Rocket Co. As they approach the facility, H4CK3R sees it outside for the first time since TDL's return—his company, a facility he and Mitzy built out of a broken windmill. His expression becomes harder.

Upon arrival, the H4CK3R is immediately connected to the facility's central network. After a few seconds, all screens in all rooms of Rocket Co. flash bright yellow with the words "MEETING" and "ALL STAFF" in bold. In a break room in the east wing of the building, several Rocket Co. clone workers respond to the alerts - one adjusts his screen, two others stand up in alarm, and a third casually takes a large sip from a large red cup, seemingly undisturbed. Throughout the facility, workers put aside their tasks and begin to head to the main compartment.

Plot : In the immediate aftermath of the events of The Hacker, H4CK3R and the Dark Lord find themselves trapped inside a disconnected ALANSPC. H4CK3R sits among the rubble of the destroyed noogai3 files, while the Dark Lord examines the dormant surroundings with interest, rather than concern. When H4CK3R indicates that they are stuck, the Dark Lord demonstrates his solution: a miniature ViraBot detaches from his body and crawls towards the Ethernet port. Even though the computer is de-energized, TDL explains that its ViraBots can physically move around the hardware — crawling through circuits and cables like insects through tunnels. ViraBot penetrates the Ethernet cable and runs along its entire length. A few minutes later, a weak signal arrives: an old TDL computer on the cliff, still powered by the Agent's hoverbike, receives a signal from ViraBot. The TDL opens up a narrow data link between the two machines, and it, along with the H4CK3R, travels along the cable, exiting the computer screen on the rock to the Outset.

The agent, still on the cliff, reaches for his weapon upon seeing the Dark Lord appear, but freezes when H4CK3R comes out from behind and shakes his head. The agent lowers the weapon. The H4CK3R surveys the surrounding landscape – the cliffs, the bay, the remnants of the destruction from Dismantling years ago – and then looks down at the water.

After a decisive showdown, the Dark Lord knocks H4CK3R off the roof of the building to the ground, causing H4CK3R's strength to run out. As he begins to crawl towards Mitzy, the Dark Lord tears him apart. H4CK3R does make it to Mitzy and touches her hand, awakening her consciousness just in time for her to witness the total destruction of H4CK3R.

H4CK3R then begins to lose, and as he approaches Mitsy, touches her, and Mitzy becomes herself again, but she saw H4CK3R being killed. H4CK3R comes back to life, but finds himself under the control of TDL, after which he begins to kill other people, including the Agent, by dropping his wrist, which is then picked up by the stickmen.

The Second Coming, seeing many people die, begins to awaken, but the mind-controlled H4CK3R deactivates his powers before the process is complete.

Soon after, H4CK3R infiltrates the area and mistakes the disguised gang for his own loyal clones. He orders them to immediately secure the "Second Coming" (TSC) in the "Machine". With no choice but to keep hiding, the gang complies and locks TSC in the device. H4CK3R activates the device at full power, draining TSC's energy to complete the rebirth process using the newly created dome infrastructure.

The massive energy transfer works successfully, and Mitzy finally materializes. Overwhelmed with joy, H4CK3R embraces his partner, but his happiness quickly turns to grief; he realizes that the resurrected Mitzy is completely soulless, empty, and does not react to anything.

Desperate to find answers to her lifeless condition, H4CK3R infiltrates her main computer and finds her soul trapped inside the Virabot's barrier. While trying to break through the barrier, H4CK3R notices her memory of the Dark Lord killing her. Surprised by this, he checks her history and discovers that she was killed by the Dark Lord. Still in disbelief, H4CK3R accesses NOBODY's memory recordings on the monitor of his host computer and sees the same moment from his own perspective. He reveals a shocking truth: the one who threw a deadly fireball and destroyed Mitzy years ago was actually his own ally, the Dark Lord.

Blinded by rage and feelings of betrayal, H4CK3R breaks down and violently attacks TDL, turning the entire lab into a chaotic, brutal battlefield. During a fierce fight, the Battle Men try to free the Second Coming, but Green gets hit and reveals his identity. They are captured, and the Agent erases their gray colors.

Plot While one of the employees of the company "Rocket Company" is typing something on the computer, Red, Green and Blue pass by unnoticed. They see a Box with a Yellow inside it. Red and BLU incapacitate the two workers, and Green jumps over the computer and dispatches the two workers guarding Yellow. He frees Yellow, and they embrace, after which they look at the Second Coming camera. The fighting men open the outer barrier of his cage, and the five hug.

Meanwhile, H4CK3R, the Dark Lord, and the Agent fly in through the garage door. The worker walks over and offers the trio coffee, but they ignore the offer. At this time, the mercenaries manage to free the mercenaries. H4CK3R tests its scanning capabilities on computers and downloads their information. No one disconnects from the Agent's apparatus and begs the Dark Lord to stop, to which the Dark Lord slaps him in the chest, surprised by his weakness.

H4CK3R decides to scan the memories of the Second Coming and discovers that he has the ability to resurrect humans (although this ability is currently inactive). H4CK3R uses his powers to assemble a variety of pieces and create a resurrection dome capable of bringing Mitsy's Mitsy Icon and everyone else to life. However, the TDL AVA8 is let in by the Dark Lord, who remain inside to take over the dome.
