Strategic Thinking: Nanami's main advantages in combat, aside from his cursed technique, are his keen combat instincts and deductive reasoning skills. Both times he fought Mahito, Nanami knew he was outmatched in pure cursed energy, yet he survived both instances and defeated Mahito several times thanks to his quick thinking and masterful execution. When Nanami was assigned to Mahito's case, he was able to effectively use his team to track down the right clues, which ultimately led them directly to Mahito. He also realized that Mahito was deliberately leading them to his hideout and decided to go alone to prevent harm to others.

Nanami knows that being a mage is a dangerous and responsible job only for crazy people, so he finds it difficult to respect people in this profession.
