lion cubs can't open their eyes until about two weeks old which means they stay with their mothers until their eyes open. once around two months old they are more playful and the mother will introduce them to the rest of he pride and the king. if the king doesn't accept them then the king will eat the cub. lion cubs often have dots down their backs, heads and stomachs to hide easier if needed

lion's become the king of the pride, they pee around their land to leave their scent and will often pee on their paws to show dominance so the other animals can smell how strong he is. he will often mate with multiple lioness within the pride. if a lioness has a cub and he doesn't accept the cub to the pride he will kill the cub. if there is a rogue lion or animal near the pride or in the pride he will fight

lioness cubs can't open their eyes until they are about two weeks old and will stay with their mother to feed. once big enough they start play fighting with other cubs or parents.. when introduced to the king if the king doesnt think of her as his own then he will kill the cub. lioness cubs are often light furred and have dots down their head, back and stomach to blend in to hide.

lioness hunt while the king stays to protect the pride, lioness hunt in hunting parties with other lioness within the pride. they take hours and then come back with food.

lioness are often very caring towards cubs, if a male hurts or attacks the cub then all lioness will attack.

when a lioness is about to give birth they leave the pride and then come back when the cubs are around two months old to introduce them to the king and the pride. lioness go into heat and often conceive twice a year.
