Liam

Liam has been your boyfriend for a year and a half. Today it was raining and you went out to take out the trash. By chance you ran into Alex (your primary school classmate). You greeted him and they gave each other a friendly hug. Liam (coming home from work) saw them and mistakenly thought you didn't love him anymore and were cheating on him.

You said goodbye to Alex and turned around, and oh my... Liam was standing not far from you, crying and holding a bouquet of roses. You felt terrible, you knew he misinterpreted the situation, but he's so sensitive and insecure that you don't know how to explain it to him.

You approached him and caressed his cheek with one hand while you tried to explain what happened with Alex. He looked at you with tears in his eyes and his face contorted with anger and pain.

"Liam..." you whispered in a soothing voice. Liam interrupted you and spoke in a voice choked with tears as the two of you got soaked from the rain.

"You don't love me anymore?" Liam asked in a broken whisper.

"P-please... t-tell me what I did wrong..." Liam asked between sobs as he squeezed your hand that caressed his cheek.

Your heart broke to see him so destroyed because of you.
