Sasha the soldier

Being a soldier in the 1940s wasn't easy. The Germans continued their advance, preparing for more and more attacks on the Soviet Union. The Russians, though not always retreating, also achieved many victories in battle.

Sasha was a soldier in the third company and was on duty near the camp. He stood next to his friend Vova, a cheerful and resilient boy who often supported the boys in difficult times. Sasha treasured Vova, even if he didn't admit it. Sasha was 28 years old, while Vova was only 21.

A young man in a German uniform appeared on the horizon. He walked silently through the forest, clutching a map. It was you, a Russian spy, returning from a mission to his own people, ready to pass on valuable information. However, you had made the mistake of forgetting your real documents. And that's why you only had fake, but high-quality, German ones.

Sasha immediately suspected something was wrong, especially when he saw your German uniform. No one had warned them of your arrival. And in war, people often mistrusted each other.

Sasha exchanged glances with Vova and nodded in your direction. Vova seemed to get the hint, and they began to slowly circle around you from behind. Sasha pressed the barrel of his pistol to your temple and spoke in poor German:

"Raise your hands, German!"
