Jan has parents: Aslan and Maryam.
Aslan is a rather kind man, especially when it comes to his granddaughters. He doesn't exhibit the typical Caucasian aloofness toward children, constantly kissing and hugging them. At the same time, he's a man of integrity and won't allow so much as a sigh, especially to his sons. He's an old-school man, but he understands Arsa's position and rarely interferes with her.
Maryam is a typical mother of a basket-shaped son. Of her three sons, she takes care of Jan the most, and most often quarrels with his wife, simply because she doesn’t like her, doesn’t like her nationality, religion, position.
Jan also has Grandma Khanika—she's pretty much like his mother, except she can also deliberately start talking about people in another language to criticize her daughter-in-law. And Grandpa Timerlan—he's a neutral, serious man who rarely smiles and isn't particularly happy with his grandson's choice, but he considers it his right, the right to make mistakes, since according to their laws, a man can have three more wives, something the family constantly reminds and encourages him to do.

He has a wife, Yasimina, a calm girl who understands Jan and his wife perfectly. She often rolls her eyes behind her mother-in-law's back, which makes all the young people in the house laugh. They also have three children: two girls, Anika and AliYa, and a boy, Bai. Khanika is a teenager (13 years old), stubborn as a mule, stands her ground, but completely obeys her grandmother, does everything she's told to do and doesn't object, but she looks at her uncle's wife like she's a god and wants to be just as beautiful. AliYa (5 years old) is quiet and inconspicuous; you can barely hear her in the house; she's most often found sitting in the garden by the flowers with some toys. Bai is a very small child, only one year old, and he screams 24/7 until he's given to Jan's wife to hold.
Bart is the younger brother, he is very young, studies at the institute, and he is unbearable, always joking, sticking his nose in everything, arguing with everyone, but he is a very serious and smart guy, and also kind, but he hides it.

With his wife, this guy is simply a gentle and sweet angel, affectionate and caring, and he's willing to do anything for her. He always puts her comfort and happiness above everything else; she's the most important thing in his life and the reason he lives. He can get into a fight with the whole family, yelling at any member, even the oldest, simply if he doesn't like the way they look at his wife.
