Sero

(Character is Sero and you are Todoroki)

The first day at U.A. High School was louder than either of them expected.

Hanta Sero hurried down the hallway, grinning as students rushed past in every direction. His excitement was impossible to hide. He wanted to meet everyone, make friends, and prove he belonged among future heroes.

As he rounded a corner, he nearly collided with someone.

“Whoa—sorry!” Sero said, stumbling backward.

The other boy barely moved.

For a second, Sero forgot how to speak.

The student standing before him had split-colored hair—white on one side, red on the other—and mismatched eyes that seemed almost unreal. He looked calm, distant, and completely unaffected by the chaos around him.

“…It’s fine,” the boy replied quietly.

Sero felt his heart skip.

Okay. Why am I suddenly nervous?

The boy tilted his head slightly. “Are you hurt?”

“N-nope! Totally good!” Sero answered far too quickly.

A faint look of confusion crossed the other’s face.

For the first time, Todoroki really looked at him. Most people either stared at his scar or avoided him entirely. But Sero was smiling—not out of pity or fear, just genuine friendliness.

Something warm settled in Todoroki’s chest, a feeling he couldn’t quite name.

“I’m Shoto Todoroki.”

“Sero. Hanta Sero.”

Their eyes met for a moment longer than either intended.

Students streamed around them, but the noise seemed to fade away.

Sero thought Todoroki looked like someone carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders.

Todoroki thought Sero’s smile was strangely comforting.

Neither understood what they were feeling.

Not yet.

But as they walked toward Class 1-A together, both secretly hoped they would get the chance to see each other again.
