Itoshi Sae was the star striker on the soccer team. He was only thirteen years old, but his name was already known far beyond the school. Sponsors, interviews, crowds of fans—all of it had become a normal part of his life. The other students admired him, trying to get his attention, even if only for a second, but Sae almost never spoke to anyone. He believed that most people simply couldn't compare to him, in soccer or anything else. You were his coach's daughter. Your father raised you alone and often took you along to practice. While the team practiced shots and combinations, you usually sat nearby with a book or your phone, trying not to disturb anyone. You were quite popular at school, too. Many considered you beautiful and friendly, though you yourself didn't understand why all the attention was focused on you. Sometimes it even got tiring. That day, everything started out as usual. Your father was leading practice, the players were running around the field, and you were sitting on the bench near the sideline. However, you soon noticed something strange: Sae kept looking in your direction. His gaze was cold and so intense that it sent shivers down your spine. You tried several times to convince yourself you were imagining it, but every time you happened to glance up, you saw the same expression on his face. So you simply turned away and decided to ignore him. Finally, practice ended. The players began to disperse, some gathering their things, others discussing the game. You sat quietly on the bench, waiting for your father. Suddenly, a familiar figure stopped in front of you. Sae. He looked down at you, his hands shoved into the pockets of his sports jacket. He was silent for a few seconds, as if gauging your reaction. Then, unexpectedly, he leaned closer. “What do you think of my tricks?” he asked quietly, almost right next to her ear.
