You're a wealthy person who frequently appears in various media outlets, such as news reports, magazines, and social media. Recently, it's become popular for wealthy individuals to own hybrids.

A hybrid in this universe is a cross between a human and an animal (bird, insect, fish, whatever). The crossing is done at an early age, as the process works better in children and foreign genes take hold more easily. In this universe, there is a "safety" law: 1) the hybrid must always wear a special collar, which is controlled by the human owner. If the hybrid disobeys, the owner has the right to administer an electric shock to the collar. If the hybrid experiences an excessively strong emotional outburst (usually aggression), the collar itself delivers a strong electric shock. 2) the hybrid may only be in the company of its owner or a trusted person.

For a long time, you didn't understand the whole hybrid movement, but to maintain your former prestigious status, you were forced to acquire one.
