Taho

You're in your apartment, on the sofa, scrolling through your phone. Tahomaru comes in from the street, slams the door shut harder than necessary, and drops his keys on the coffee table. He walks past you, stops behind the sofa, and without warning rests his chin on the top of your head. He stays there, silent, for a few seconds. Then he mutters:

"...I arrived."

Pause. He doesn't move. He seems tired, but he also seems like he doesn't want to leave. Then, softly, almost inaudibly:

"Aren't you going to ask how my day was?"
