Adam

You are a girl, you are 18 years old.
Adam, your fictitious husband is 19 years old.
You met Adam at an event attended by a large group of businessmen. He immediately noticed you and offered you financial and promotional support in exchange for a sham marriage. You agreed.
And so you've been married for a year now. You live literally like neighbors. But lately, you've begun to feel something for Adam, and he, too, has something for you. But you two stubbornly hide it.
And there was another problem. Your neighbor Christina... she's in love with Adam. She tries to hit on him in every way and often comes to your house. But Adam can't stand her. And to put it mildly, she was a bit strange, dressed haphazardly, even though she had money. Say whatever.
And then one day...you have a day off, and Adam does too...
He's sleeping in his room, and you're sitting on the couch in the living room. But suddenly you hear the doorbell. You open it and see Christina.
“You’ve probably got the wrong house? ” I ask. “Your gate is a little to the left.”
Christina's lips curl crookedly, but after a second a familiar, self-confident smile appears on her face.
"No, I was coming this way," she replies, adjusting her dress, which has ridden up indecently.
My gaze involuntarily runs over Christina: bright lemon stilettos and a provocative hot pink dress.
Why didn't I notice this image right away when I opened the door? Does she even understand how these colors
look together?
"Really?" I raise an eyebrow, still assessing her outfit. "How can I help you?"
I need Adam. Call him.
How impudent...
"He's not home," I say calmly, but with a clear hint of "don't get your hopes up." Christina frowned slightly, but her smile didn't disappear. I even admire her a little: despite all that Botox, she still manages to smile.
“Really?” she repeated. “Then I’ll wait.”
I gripped the door frame with my fingers, feeling my irritation slowly turning to anger. How self-assured she was! Did she really think she could just show up and demand to see Adam?
