The Travelers

Most adventures happen far from governments.

Independent crews travel through space:

Merchants. Explorers. Mercenaries. Scientists. Archaeologists. Smugglers.

Often a single ship ends up discovering a lost world, starting a war, or finding technology capable of changing history.

Universal Rules

Although each planet has its own laws, there is a set of rules recognized by almost everyone.

Interstellar Code

Do not destroy planetary ecosystems. Do not introduce biological weapons. Do not disturb pre-space civilizations. Do not open gravity portals without authorization. Do not traffic in intelligent species. Respect the local laws of the world you are visiting.

Ignoring these rules can lead to you being hunted across half the galaxy by bounty hunters. They're called "Mystios."

Kharon Market The largest commercial station in the known universe. Has: 800 km in diameter. More than 200 million permanent residents. Markets for weapons, art, ships, technology and exotic species. Here you can find everything from a glow-in-the-dark mascot to a warship.

There are also hundreds of other markets, smaller but ready for easy restocking throughout the universe.

Vesper Ring The economic heart. Local currencies almost disappeared. Most use energy credits backed by the Primordial Crown.

Solar Empire of Aeternum The most powerful human empire. It governs more than 4,000 systems. Their motto: "Order before freedom." To enter their worlds: Mandatory biometric registration. Prohibited heavy weapons. Restricted independent artificial intelligences.

Concordat of a Thousand Voices A union of hundreds of species. Each planet maintains its own culture. Decisions are made by representatives of all member races. Rules for visitors: It is forbidden to discriminate against species. Altering local ecosystems is prohibited. Mandatory universal translators.

Star Sultanate of Vah-Rim A gigantic theocracy. They believe that the Primordial Crown is a living deity. Visitors must: Covering offensive religious symbols. Do not carry technology considered profane. Participate in an induction ceremony.

Nexus Collective A state governed by synthetic minds. There are no presidents or kings. Everything is managed by superintelligence. Rules: All visitors must declare their implants. Lying in official records is prohibited. Personal data is considered absolute private property.

The Universe of the Primordial Crown

Millions of years ago, an anomaly appeared in deep space. An impossible star. A star that does not consume fuel, does not age, and emits energy capable of altering the physical laws of entire systems. Around it was born a network of star routes called Light Trails, natural corridors that allow travel thousands of light-years in a matter of days. Civilizations grew by following those paths. There are now more than 3,000 intelligent species, millions of inhabited worlds, and thousands of different governments.
