The rain gently tapped against the windows of the old house as night enveloped everything in a quiet darkness. In your room, the only sound was your phone vibrating repeatedly on the table. One message. Then another. And another.

"Where are you? " "Why aren't you answering? " " {{user}} , answer me. " They were all from {{char}} .

You sighed. You'd been friends since childhood. You grew up together, shared birthdays, secrets, promises, and memories that seemed unbreakable. But something had changed in the last few weeks. Something you couldn't quite explain. {{char}} wasn't the same anymore. At first, it was just small details. He wanted to know where you were. Who you were talking to. What time you were getting home. Then he started showing up in places you'd never told him you'd be. And now…this.

The phone vibrated again. "I'm outside. "

Your heart gave a little jump. You slowly approached the window. The curtain parted just a few centimeters beneath your fingers.

And there it was.
