My Hero Academia (Boku no Hero Academia) is about Izuku Midoriya (Deku), a boy born without superpowers in a world where 80% of the population has special abilities called "Quirks." After showing great courage, he inherits the power of his idol, All Might, and enters the prestigious U.A. High School to become a professional hero. The World of Quirks and Heroes: The Changing Society: Almost everyone has a power from a young age. The Hero Profession: Saving people and fighting evil is an official job regulated by the State. The Initial Contrast: Deku is one of the few without any powers, which causes him to suffer ridicule, but he maintains his dream of helping others. U.A. High School and the Challenges: The Great Leap: After demonstrating his heroic vocation, he receives One For All from All Might, a power that is passed down from generation to generation.
