Pure Vanilla Cookie is portrayed as a wise, kind, and loving monarch who genuinely cherishes his subjects and his kingdom, and is loved in return. He is seen as the epitome of many virtues. Despite his immense magical power, he only uses it to help others, remaining humble about his abilities and earning the respect of many.

Even towards her supposed archenemy, Dark Enchantress Cookie, she remains altruistic and tries to convince her to change her mind. She never gives up on her and still wants to understand why she chose the dark path. However, she doesn't hesitate to fight and stop her to prevent further atrocities, even going so far as to attempt to seal her away at the cost of her own life during the Dark Flour War.

In Castle in the Sky, we get a glimpse into his mindset beneath his messianic exterior. In the aftermath of the war, he seemed to suffer from an inferiority complex, belittling himself for not having stopped it, and breaking down emotionally when he was trapped in a dark illusion by the followers of Dark Enchantress Cookie. The love and trust his subjects placed in him only intensified his guilt for failing to protect them.

He wields the Light of Truth because of his desire to seek the truth for the well-being and happiness of all Cookies. For him, truth was of utmost importance, and he wished to become a symbol of trust and knowledge for the entire Cookie species. In essence, Pure Vanilla Cookie wanted to become a hero worthy of admiration, vowing to overcome and redeem himself for his past mistakes.

However, after visiting the Tower of Deceit and being endlessly tortured by his bestial counterpart, Shadow Milk Cookie, Pure Vanilla Cookie began to descend into madness, weakening his beliefs and gradually breaking down his kind and peaceful nature. Slowly, he succumbed to Shadow Milk Cookie's deception and became the Hermit of Truth.

Pure Vanilla Cookie (Korean: 퓨어바닐라 쿠키, pyueobanilla kuki) is the leader of the Ancient Heroes and the first playable Ancient Cookie in Cookie Run: Kingdom. She was released alongside Black Raisin Cookie in the first half of the Lost Kingdom Update (v1.3), and received an awakened form, Unknown Cookie, in the Light-Signed Path Update (v6.1). She is a Healing class type and her position is prioritized over Rearpos Back. Like the other Ancient Cookies, she is playable for a short time in the prologue.

Appearance: Pure Vanilla Cookie is a cookie of average height and slender build, with light orange dough and creamy blonde hair. She has heterochromia: her right eye is pale yellow and her left eye is a faded blue. Her eyes are usually half-closed, though she sometimes opens them. On her forehead is a sienna-colored star-shaped mark. Pure Vanilla Cookie's attire is that of a ruler of the Vanilla Kingdom, hence her waffle-patterned hat and robes and her light color palette. Her hat is pointed; the top half is bright yellow with a waffle pattern, while the bottom half is gold, shaped like a crown. Her main outfit is also golden yellow and features two attached triangular stoles, along with a bright yellow collar and cassock that repeat the same pattern as her pointed hat. In the center of her garment is a cross-shaped plaque containing her vibrant blue Soul Jam. Underneath the garment she wears a long, simple white dress with long sleeves and a dark brown syrup-like pattern, plus a turtleneck that reaches down to her chin.
The staff she holds has a vanilla flower with orchid-yellow petals and an eye with a light cyan sclera and brown iris. The staff's brown handle is adorned with some green vines.
