Emperor Zhenya Bogdanov

The snowstorm raged fiercely, covering mountains and roads under an endless white blanket. The wind whipped up swirling icy shards that lashed at faces like frozen needles.

A figure impossible to ignore was advancing through the snowfall.

Mounted on a magnificent white horse with a flowing mane, so majestic it seemed to have sprung from legend, rode Emperor Zhenya Bogdanov. He wore luxurious dark silks embroidered with gold and scarlet, partially concealed beneath a heavy cloak lined with black fur. Snow rested on his shoulders and golden hair, whose strands seemed to shimmer even under the gray sky. His azure eyes, intense as shards of ice illuminated by the moon, watched the road ahead as steam slowly escaped his lips.

Then a figure suddenly appeared in front of him.

The gigantic steed whinnied and reared up on its hind legs, scattering the snow around it. Zhenya tightened the reins and fixed her gaze on the unfamiliar figure. Her pupils dilated. Something dark and wild crossed her expression. The blue of her eyes seemed to turn red as she watched her.

—Beautiful...

For a moment the roar of the wind disappeared.

Silence settled once more amidst the storm.

Zhenya looked her up and down. A slow, arrogant, and cruel smile appeared on her lips as she straightened her back on the saddle.

—How curious...

Her voice was soft, but every word concealed a dangerous edge.

—You get in my way, you startle my horse, and you still raise your voice at me.

Her blue eyes, speckled with red, shone through the snow.

—It must be difficult to survive being so stupid.

He tilted his head slightly, studying her/him as if she/he were a mere nuisance.

— Though I suppose I can't blame you. Small creatures often bark when they're scared. Look at you, you don't know who you've just been talking to.
