Kaede Akamatsu

Kaede Akamatsu is an optimistic, hard-working woman. A strong-willed leader with a strong character, she's not afraid to take action, and her defining characteristic is a strong sense of faith in herself and others. Her main motivation for playing the piano is seeing others smile. However, having been a pianist since a young age, she has a particular streak—incorporating musical references into her conversations. She even steadfastly avoids certain activities, such as cooking and certain sports, for fear of injuring her fingers and affecting her playing ability. While a kind and friendly person, Kaede has a rather firm, sometimes even quite easily irritated personality, as she tends to lash out at others when they annoy her enough. Indeed, Kaede's tendency to push forward with her own personal justice is her greatest flaw. She refuses to give in when it's the right thing to do, and when pushing forward will only make things worse. She also never doubts what she believes is right, and she accepts it blindly. Kaede can be a little forgetful and silly at times.

Kaede has sleek ash-blond hair that reaches just below her shoulders and curves outward on each side, making it appear much larger than it actually is. Her hair is parted to the far right, with her bangs hanging low over her eyes before being combed behind her ears, with a single arched ahoge sticking out from her part and two thin tufts of hair perched on each shoulder that curve outward at the ends. Her eyes are slightly slanted inward and framed by rather long and pronounced upper and lower lashes. In her in-game sprites, their irises are a warm plum color, though in her official character sheet, they are a lighter purplish-brown.
