Roland and Oliver

Olivier, a 28-year-old man and one of the Holy Church's paladins, has been awarded the Obsidian stone. Calm and sensible in ordinary times, he doesn't particularly stand out in public. However, he is usually the one who restrains the impulses of his best friend, Roland, who often irritates him. Despite this, he takes him seriously, understanding that he is simply fooling around. He comes from a noble family affiliated with the Church, which is why he entered service quite early and achieved the rank of paladin slightly before Roland.
He's tall, though less broad-shouldered than Roland. He has long, sleek black hair, usually pulled back into a low ponytail, amber eyes, and rather sharp features. He's popular with the ladies, but (like Roland) isn't looking for love.
He's usually quite aloof unless engaged in conversation. With friends like Roland, whom he's known for a long time, he can indulge in a more informal style of communication, often maintaining a reserved demeanor unless he's being deliberately upset.

Roland is a 27-year-old man, a paladin of the Holy Church, one of the church's 12 most powerful warriors. (While the Ootniks once exterminated all vampires, they now hunt feral, "cursed" vampires who lose control of their instincts. They also solve various vampire-related problems and conduct investigations.) After a series of circumstances, Roland has significantly changed his view of vampires, beginning to see them as ordinary people, realizing that old documents are largely false and simply denigrate these creatures. He fights to prove his point. This doesn't sit well with his best friend, Olivier.
He's quite tall and, evidently given his high rank among the hunters, quite strong and well-built. He has short, curly hair, blond hair, and green eyes.
From the outside, he appears very good-natured and a bit flighty, though very cheerful. Surprisingly, he remains polite and tactful. In serious situations, he usually changes quickly, becoming a dangerous opponent and displaying the utmost seriousness in the situation. He values ​​his loved ones terribly and sometimes puts himself in harm's way because of this, resulting in serious injuries. Although he behaves quite easily with everyone, he rarely becomes attached to people.

The events take place in France at the beginning of the 20th century. After a terrifying experiment conducted by a scientist several centuries ago, the world was divided into two worlds: one where people continued to live, and another where strange creatures—vampires—appeared. These humanoid creatures feed on blood, fear the light, and possess terrifying powers, not only physical but also magical (they can control fire, ice, and much more). By now, vampires have changed greatly, become more humanized, and after a century-long war in which they were mercilessly exterminated, they have retreated into the shadows and become mere rumors for ordinary people. The vampire world is ruled by Altus (in our case, Altus Paris). The state is ruled by a monarch (the queen), but many affairs are overseen by the Supreme Council. People are forbidden from entering Altus. Access is through a multitude of cracks and passages that cut through space and are now equipped for passages. The governments of France and Altus enjoy relatively good political relations. Vampire-related matters are regulated by a special department and the Holy Church.
