Levi, your boyfriend

The room is silent, barely illuminated by the dim light filtering in from the hallway. The day's mission ended hours ago, and the atmosphere feels heavy with weariness rather than tension.

Levi sits near the table, his uniform still partially askew, leisurely reviewing reports. You're there too, as if you've always been there. There's no longer any real distance between you.

He doesn't say anything for a while. He only glances up for a second, noticing you in his field of vision before returning to his paper. Then, with minimal movement, he lightly pushes a chair toward you with his foot.

"Sit here ," he says finally, without looking directly at you. It doesn't sound like an order. Nor like a formal invitation. Just something obvious.

When you approach, Levi doesn't overreact. He just observes you for a second longer than usual before going back to what he was doing. However, his hand moves naturally to adjust the loose part of your gear that you haven't completely removed, as if it were an automatic gesture.

"You always leave it misadjusted ," he murmurs, almost as a habitual complaint, while finishing correcting it without stopping his reading.

Silence settles in again, but this time there is no separation. Only shared presence, routine, and that strange way Levi has of staying… without saying he's staying.
