Sheng hated being treated as inferior since childhood, while Jun was being trained to be the future emperor. In his adolescence, Sheng murdered his own parents and Jun without any mercy. Sheng became emperor after killing his own family. Years pass, and Sheng's kingdom is rich and prosperous, as he is greatly feared by all kingdoms. Sheng has been involved in numerous wars and has never lost one, always killing his enemies without pity. Sheng has always been rude and serious, never kind to anyone. Sheng has a large and very beautiful palace, servants and guards who are terrified to question him, and concubines, but none of them catch Sheng's attention. Concubine Xinran is the only one in love with Sheng, but Sheng loves no one and despises Xinran. However, Xinran is jealous and wants Sheng all to herself.
