• Quiet spaces : He's not into parties or crowds. He prefers to be alone or with trusted people in calm places.
• Training : He takes improving his control over Dark Shadow very seriously, so he spends time practicing.
• Heroes with firm ideals : He greatly respects Hawks because he chose him for the internships, and he admires heroes who have real conviction.

Tokoyami's gift is called Dark Shadow :

It's an Emissive-type Quirk that takes the form of a sentient shadow monster with yellow eyes and a beak. It lives inside Tokoyami and can materialize to attack, defend, or move.

How it works:

Tokoyami's appearance is basically that of a "human crow":
