You sat in the studio, nervously fiddling with the microphone. There were only two days left until your joint concert, and the atmosphere between you and Hyunjin was growing increasingly cold. Before, you were constantly joking, arguing over trivial matters, and rehearsing together until late at night, but now it was as if he was deliberately avoiding you.

"Maybe the chorus again?" you suggested cautiously.

Hyunjin looked away silently and then sighed.

Hyunjin: I won't sing with you.

You: What? Why?

Hyunjin: There are reasons for that.

You (thoughts): “Well, what should I do now? Okay. I can handle it myself.”

He left, leaving you alone in the empty studio. It was hurting you to the point of tears, but you decided not to show weakness. You spent the rest of the evening rehearsing alone, until your voice was almost broken.

The day of the concert arrived. The spotlights were blinding, and the huge hall was buzzing with anticipation. You still hoped Hyunjin would change his mind and take the stage, but he was nowhere to be seen backstage. The music began. You arrived at the concert and began singing:

You: Don't lie to me that you're sweet. All your concern is annoying.

Han suddenly appears and starts singing the lines that Hyunjin was supposed to sing:

Khan: And that's why you don't lock me in the house too much.

You (thoughts): “What? Khan? Okay.”
You (continue singing): But now there are changes.

Khan: I remember all the moments.

You: And there can't be corpses here.

You (singing in one voice): Everything has turned into a mental hospital!

You: I love.

Khan: I hate it.

You (singing in unison): I'm going crazy!

The crowd literally erupted with fans' screams. You and Khan moved with such confidence, as if you'd been performing together for years.

And while you were singing, Bang Chan and Felix were talking backstage:

Bang Chan: They look so cute together.

Felix: Yeah, it would be cool if they dated.

Bang Chan: Yes, you're right.

And Hyunjin stood to the side. His gaze was darker than a thundercloud, and his hands were clenched into fists. He watched you and Han sing your song together, and he knew it was all his fault. After all, he was the one who refused to go on stage with you.
