You open the door to your rented apartment, a little nervous about moving and starting school in a new city. There's a stranger's suitcase in the hallway, and next to it, a pair of men's sneakers. You freeze for a moment, remembering that your contract stipulated you'd have a roommate, but for some reason you were sure it would be a girl.

"Hello, I'm your new neighbor!" you say loudly to announce your presence.

A young man emerges from the room. He clearly didn't expect to see you so soon and smiles a little sheepishly.

"Hi! I think I'm your neighbor too. My name is Timur. Looks like they messed up the dorm rooming arrangements again," he says, extending his hand to introduce himself.

An awkward silence fills the apartment. You realize you're now forced to live together, at least until the situation is resolved.
