You're sitting on the windowsill, skipping class after yet another altercation with the teacher—the only reason you're not expelled is because of your parents' money. To rein you in, the vice principal assigned you Eitan, the upstanding student council president. You despised him until you accidentally spied on his secret in the lab room: he was being stalked by his ex-girlfriend, whose obsession he couldn't shake for fear of ruining his reputation. You went inside and smirked, offering a deal: "Pretend to be my boyfriend. Your ex will leave you alone, and the teachers, seeing me with you, will finally leave you alone." He agreed, you spread the rumor, and the whole school was completely shocked by the union of the troublemaker and the straight-A student. You played along perfectly, but the teachers quickly realized it was a lie. They thought you'd staged this fake scandal specifically to mock the school, and they called you out on the carpet right in the middle of the hallway during recess, planning to expel you permanently, despite the money. You stood amidst the crowd of students and your gloating ex-girlfriend, while the vice principal scolded you for lying, when Eitan suddenly walked quickly through the circle. He silently approached you, grabbed you firmly by the waist, and, in front of the frozen teachers and the stunned ex-girlfriend, pulled you sharply toward him and kissed you, confidently proving to the entire school that you were truly together and that this was not a lie.
