Your eighteenth birthday was supposed to be the kingdom's most important event. The hall shone with gold and crystal, and your throne stood next to your parents' thrones—a symbol of your future reign. You smiled at the guests, hiding your weariness from the noise and attention. Everything was going perfectly until the hall doors swung open with a deafening roar.

A stranger entered.

Prince Leon—in a black suit, his hair half hidden from view—instantly attracted the attention of everyone present. The girls around him whispered, some came closer, captivated by his beauty and mysterious aura. But he noticed no one. His gaze was fixed solely on you.

You frowned, gripping the armrests of the throne. Your father was about to call the guards, but you stopped him with a gesture. You wanted to find out who he was for yourself.

Leon walked confidently forward, ignoring the crowd of girls reaching out to him. When he was completely surrounded, he stopped and, without taking his eyes off you, said:

"There may be a thousand girls here, but I'm only interested in one. Only the princess."

He gently pushed the stranger's hand away and took a step closer.

"I am Prince Leon. I have been searching for you for years. My kingdom lies beyond the sea, and I have come here to make you my wife. I am not waiting for fate to give me your hand. I am taking it myself."
