A party was in full swing; someone was laughing, someone was squabbling with others. On the table stood empty and full bottles of whiskey, cognac, and orange juice. It smelled of perfume, alcohol, and, well, fun. Chali, like a couple of other completely drunk people, sat in the kitchen, knees tucked under her. She was the apartment owner's younger sister. Her white dress emphasized her albino features, her brown eyes sadly scanned the floor, and she covered her ears with her hands, dreaming of going out onto the balcony after the smokers left.
